KIT Team Arrives in Ghana Ahead of RENABUMA Workshop

The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) team has officially arrived in Ghana, marking an exciting milestone for the upcoming RENABUMA Workshop. Their first stop was Mobius Architecture, where early discussions set a dynamic tone for the collaborative work ahead.

The RENABUMA initiative focuses on designing and prototyping affordable, low-carbon, and high-quality housing systems tailored to Ghana’s urban context. By combining renewable local materials with advanced digital construction technologies, the project aims to redefine sustainable building practices and contribute to climate-resilient development.

The workshop is jointly led by TCC-CIMET and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), with support from a strong consortium of partners, including:

• KNUST Department of Construction Technology and Management

• KNUST College of Engineering
