TCC-CIMET Delivers Precision-Engineered Shaft for Legendary Foods' Coconut Shredder
The TCC International Centre for Innovation, Manufacturing, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (TCC-CIMET) has successfully designed, fabricated, and installed a precision-engineered shaft for a coconut fibre extraction machine for Legendary Foods (Africa).
Manufactured to the client's specifications, the shaft is a critical component of the extraction machine, transmitting power and enabling the efficient processing of coconut husks into fibre. The successful delivery of the project demonstrates TCC-CIMET's expertise in precision engineering, advanced fabrication, and the provision of innovative, industry-driven manufacturing solutions.
The project forms part of the Centre's ongoing commitment to supporting Ghana's manufacturing sector through the design and fabrication of customized engineering components that address specific industrial challenges, improve operational efficiency, and enhance equipment performance.
Speaking on the successful completion of the project, the Production Manager of Legendary Foods (Africa), Mr. Appiah Rexford, commended the quality of work delivered by TCC-CIMET. He noted that the custom-fabricated shaft met the company's technical specifications and has contributed significantly to the efficient operation of the coconut fibre extraction machine.
Mr. Rexford further emphasized the importance of partnering with institutions that combine engineering excellence with practical, industry-focused solutions capable of meeting the evolving needs of manufacturers.
