Precision Starts with Advanced CNC Machining
The Technology Transfer Production Unit (TTPU) at TCC-CIMET has successfully manufactured a four-cavity precision injection mold for the production of PET bottle preforms, demonstrating its expertise in precision engineering and advanced manufacturing.
The mold, which is used to produce PET bottle preforms—the initial stage in manufacturing high-quality plastic bottles—was custom-designed and manufactured to meet the client's exact specifications. Produced from high-grade tool steel, the mold delivers the precision, consistency, and durability required for reliable, high-volume production.
The project was executed using TTPU's advanced CNC machining capabilities. The primary mold components were manufactured on a CNC milling machine, while supporting components were produced using a precision lathe. The integration of these machining processes enabled the production of a complex tooling system with tight tolerances and exceptional dimensional accuracy.
At TTPU, every mold is tailored to the unique production requirements of each client. From design and machining to assembly and final inspection, each stage of the manufacturing process is carried out with meticulous attention to detail. Before delivery, every mold undergoes comprehensive quality inspection and testing to ensure it meets the highest industry standards and performs reliably in production environments.
By combining advanced CNC technology, skilled craftsmanship, and rigorous quality assurance, TTPU continues to deliver high-performance tooling solutions that enable manufacturers to improve production efficiency, maintain consistent product quality, and achieve long-term operational reliability.
Organizations seeking precision mold design and manufacturing solutions can rely on TTPU's expertise to develop tooling that meets demanding industrial applications with accuracy, durability, and excellence.
