TCC-CIMET Strengthens Partnership Efforts with UESD Delegation
The TCC International Centre for Innovation, Manufacturing, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship (TCC-CIMET) hosted a delegation from the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Somanya, as part of an ongoing effort to expand collaboration in innovation, research commercialization, and student development.
The delegation, led by Dr. Dominic Boyetey, Head of the Department of Built Environment, and accompanied by Mr. Evans Borko, Department Registrar, expressed strong interest in establishing practical learning pathways for UESD students. Discussions also focused on fostering joint research initiatives and creating internship opportunities aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry.
The visitors were received on behalf of the Director-General, Dr. Alexander Boakye Marful, with further engagements facilitated by Ms. Rhoda Dufie Dwobeng and Mr. Kenneth Donkor. The team provided the delegation with a tour of TCC-CIMET’s innovation labs and workshops, offering insights into the Centre’s applied research and technology development efforts.
